Long before God made the earth He set in place a plan To rectify our souls to Him Should sin possess the man The one He fashioned from the clay And gave the breath of life The two ordained creation week Both Adam and his wife But in this plan ordained by love Of which we cant conceive He promised even more than hope For those who would believe He promised to become as one A child of God also To help us understand that He Our every trial would know To have the greatest sympathy That we might see in Him A Saviour come to honor God By how He lived with men And when in life He paid the price To purchase us from sin He took on more than we deserve To help us to begin To understand how great the cost To save what man had lost For it was not just what He paid In dying on the cross But as the scripture says that we A sanctuary be The same is said of Christ Who gave Himself to be like me And as He is to dwell in us In Gods salvation plan So Christ becomes a dwelling place To sanctify the man A tabernacle made by God To hold sweet company With those who would believe in Him And soon His glory see So as you ponder what it means To live your life for Him Consider how Hell ever live His life Prepared for men And bear the scars upon His flesh That He might us atone And proudly show the universe The ones He calls His own Inspiration taken from Revelation 21 : 3 & John 17
