Long day.... Went to Bay City and visited with Mike. Seemed to be very tired so I went to the ICU lobby and had coffee and talked to the people in there. Then I went back to his room and noticed right away that they had removed his feeding tube. I looked at him and said Yay...the tube is gone from your nose...when do you get to eat? About that time the nurse came in and said he couldnt have anything to eat and then asked Mike, where is the tube? He had pulled it out while he was sleeping. She had to put another one in. His arm with the clot is hard and twice normal size. That is a wait and see thing I guess. Then the physical therapist came in and asked him his name...no response. Asked him what his last name was and he tried to say Kipp....It didnt come out very clear but I knew what he was trying to say. He asked what year he was born in and Mike said fi...fi..fi . Its a start!! I went to Mt. Pleasant to look for shoes for the wedding. Lawd....Im mother of the groom, not hooker of the year!! Whats with all the 4 and 5 inch spike heels???? Then an unpleasant stop and home again. Some days I wonder why I even leave my house....
