Long day and lots to do tomorrow, but its a beautiful, warm evening with the sun slanting on the golf course and Doris and her pack of neighborhood dogs bounding around the green, and life is pretty sweet. Highlight of the day: having had the opportunity to pull onto the shoulder off 264 in 5 oclock traffic to go get a lumbering 30 lb turtle out of the middle of the highway, and carry that big muddy guy back to the soggy ditch on the roadside as he waved his clawed flapper feet in the air. I hope he kept going south, and that it made his day. It sure made mine.
