Long long lllooonnnggg day. Left the house at 930, got home around 630...eek. So this weekend Chris has been complaining about knee pain. Didnt do anything that we knew of to it and it was pretty intense. I wondered if it was the extra fluid since he was puffy all weekend from the gvh or steroids. Got to clinic, got pulmonary function and saw Dr Eckrich. He wanted xray of his chest to check the fluid in light of the gvh symptoms. And his knee to make sure there was no visible reason for the pain. Got back and found out his platelets were 13k, so he was on tap for infusion of platelets. Xray showed fluid, likely from gvh around his knee.This stuff just doesnt quit. So in effort to control the symptoms he received a 3 hour infusion of infliximab. They stopped it before because it can increase the risk of fungal infection, and when they thought he had it they put it on hold. So please continue to pray for relieve from the graft vs host symptoms and no more setbacks. Appointment Wednesday and Friday this week. ~Michelle
