Long long passage up the malacca staits up the Malaysia Coast but hopefully get to Penang sometime tonight and have a look around tomorrow.will b first stop since tucked in next to Singapore. Had tremendous lightening and thunderstorms and rain like u have never seen but only for about four days and only two of those we were sailing. Luckily not a direct hit with the lightening! Wind on our nose so lots of motor sailing unfortunately. Stop after that is langkawi where I may get off depending on timing. Or may stay on for the last 200 miles to Phuket. Will decide when we get there. Engine overheated again yesterday at the same time the autopilot broke down in the midst of a major squall but hove too and got it all fixed. We are not sure what is causing this engine problem as second time it has happened.
