Long night and morning,got off work bout 245am.Was driving along broad,turn down street were old Sears use to be saw someone lying again building,I went. two blocks, I had to turn around, homeless Mexican Guy,sleep I call out to see if he answer he did,I gave him my blanket,I had in back,it was wool,he said thank you.At that time Cop and ambulance was setting at light watching,anyway I pulled off,I really felt bad for him. I was watching city council, two nights ago ,were you go to voice your issues with city council,they were closing Monroe park were homeless people meet and sleep.They going to restore it but they not letting homeless people stay there. Word is rich people of that area,paying to have it done cause they say its an eye sore,anyway its a public park anybody should able to be there,.alot does go on there but still were does it stop.We have all these empty building that could be use to house people thats down.All of them are not bad.I did a piece on this a while back.Anyway the city dont have money to do anything,give me a break thats Bologna.All the scandels they have had on on council, them taking trips, and stealing money,our money and etc.. A homeless Guy said, okay yall going to move us out,were do you think we going to go.Do you want to look out your windows and see us in your neighborhood sleep on your porch,cause thats what going to happened.you gon get tired of calling police.He made since.Statics show a lot of us are just a few pay checks away from being homeless,Ive been there I know.Bad thing about it they give grants out to folks to open business,but dont want to give them to people that want to help do something about homeless.They had a Guy said he been living in that area for 40years,he raise his kids there, his rich friends said he was crazy.Guy also said city is not doing enough to help homeless,and they can.Greed running ramped,in our government IN,The RVA.
