**Long post warning** SO what was this training thing I went to anyway?! It was life changing. It forced me to open my eyes to the way I had been running my life, my household, my family, and my business and where my priorities were. I am so much to so many people and I proudly wear many hats in life but as I remind others and my Nick reminds me, you cant be everything to everyone. Or as Oprah says, you can do it all - just not all at once. I found that I was trying desperately to be that - everything to everyone and instead of being successful at doing so, I was selling the people who matter most to me short. I take great pride in being a coach and a leader.. and my passion lives in my career. However, what I found was that I was putting SO much into my business that I was putting less than enough into my spouse, my daughter, and the rest of my family. I want, with all my heart, to run a successful business and to experience financial freedom and trust me, I WILL. But not at the expense of my family.... not anymore. Here is my public apology to my family for not placing them first when I should. My love. My daughter. My mother. My sister. My Step parents. Myself. I chose to spend my weekend with my peers and invest time and money in myself to learn how I can continue to be an extraordinary coach and leader while also being an extraordinary mother, spouse, daughter, and sister. I am still many other things..but I chose 5 things that I want to be EXTRAORDINARY at .. the 5 things that mean the most to me and I will be making some big changes in my life as far as where my time is spent and how my day is scheduled. I want to be an extraordinary: Mother Spouse Family member Coach Leader Going forward, there will be times during my day that you will be unable to reach me unless its an emergency. There will be days where you may have to wait until tomorrow for an answered question. There will be times that you will have my one on one undivided attention if you fall somewhere into my 5 roles. I thank you all for being a part of my life as I learn, grow, and transition and thank you for coming along for the ride!! Signing off now to go schedule my week and put everything I learned into action.
