Long story but worth reading. Tell me what you think. This is not made up! Went to Lowes today in Smithfield to pick up a Christmas tree today. Harley Bartholomew picked the perfect tree and I took it to the table to have it trimmed to find no one in the area and also noticed that the gates were locked. Laura goes to find someone to help and finds a guy that; while walking away from her that he wasnt qualified to do that but he would get someone. While I looked at the lights I notice him assisting a lady with several issues and which would have made me forget about me and I am me! Anyway I go back to my tree to find a young man and as I catch his eye he shakes his head as if I was aggravating him. I asked if they could open the doors and he said no. So as he worked I go to find a cart and to my dismay the only one I could find was in the grasp of guess. The woman with issues. Now the first guy comes back and watches the guy trimming my tree and my wife is turned around cause his pants are down to his knees which made me do the same. After finishing he sends the tree through the net and then throws it to the ground. Laura asks for the ticket so she could pay for it and the guy again huffs and buffs but does hand it to her. Mean while the other guy says we should open the gates for them I will call the manager. After a lengthy convo the guy says well after he figured out it was for a customer he will be here in a few minutes and laughed and strolls off with the guy with his pants around his knees. After 10 minutes I see my lovely wife outside waiting which set me ablaze. I picked the tree up and threw it on my shoulder and proceeded to walk through the middle of the store. As I get to the main isle I get behind, who else, the woman with issues. So I ask if she would mind moving so I could pass and she take a step to the side and leaves her cart in the middle of the isle. Keep in mind that was the only one in the store and she had nothing in it. So I back up and walk down a different isle and get behind who else the two guys that where in the tree center that helped us. The were walking very slowly so by the time I got to the end of the isle I was les than happy. The guy with his pants down says I guess the manager never came huh to the other guy and they both laughed and literally ran away from me. Now I make it all the way through to the cash register and walk right past everyone WITH THE TREE ON MY SHOULDER and out the door and no one says a word to me! Outside I walk up on a mother daughter duo and the girl says Look mom that guy carries trees on his shoulder to the car for you. I guess the Christmas season is in full swing.
