Long time since going to a movie but here I come! As a young boy I struggled terribly in school, but Hawking inspired me by showing the power of hope and focus, uniting general relativity (very large) & quantum mechanics (very small) using limited motion of a single cheek muscle. He inspired me to follow in his footsteps attaining a degree in applied mathematics. When western medicine told me I had a lifelong debilitating illness that would only get worse, Hawkings message of hope shed light on a future full of possibilities and the quest of understanding the nature of consciousness. Amazing Dr. hawking has lived 50 years beyond what doctors expected. I have so much gratitude to this man.
