Long time since my last report but just did not get the time; actually I spent about half an hour the other day writing one and uploaded some photos and then got distracted from the computer and when I went back to it I shut it down before I posted it, clever! Anyway since my last report on the 13th the fishing has been fairly steady on the bottom with lots of Tope, Flatfish, Bream, etc and plenty of baitfish about, mostly big Mackerel, which make great live baits and kept few to take back home; had some on the BBQ last week, just split them down the middle, spread open, grate a bit of sea salt on them, and chuck on the grill, so tasty and full of juicy flesh, we use them so much for bait and forget there probably one of the best tasting fish you can eat. The trolling is still worth a go but we have not had much, the odd Skipjack and Amberjack, but a few Marlin have been hooked and lost and there are some big whales working up and down the coast taking advantage of all the baitfish about. I will add a photo album on a separate post after this one, buy for now and will have a bit more time this week to do the reports. Later.
