Long tiring day of putting together my writing desk, and I have to say, the thing is going together just like I planned it. A little over seven feet wide, two deep, with two twenty inch wide by three foot long wings. One wing will be the printer stand, while the other will be a work surface with a four foot by two foot backboard with cork board on it for mounting maps and drawings that fit whatever story I am working on. Five different large cabinets with two shelves each. Room for all three monitors on the main desk, with a wall mount for a forty inch wide screen TV overhead. Its so great to be a nerd with a nerd profession that I can nerd out on while developing my workspace.
