Long week, long drive home, but the good part was that I got to work with three VERY hard working riders. Rita-your ride yesterday was a culmination of TONS of changes you have made in the past couple of years. You are working hard with your big boy and you are showing it! Congratulations on some very good riding. Cora Lehet, you did it! You did and scored so well yesterday in your championship that culminated with the victory gallop in the award ceremony! KUDOS, and then to go today and take your fourth ride down the centerline at second level ever in your life, and to do it in a championship class and to pull a score in the 60s wow, testament to you and your horse, your partnership, great job, you made me very proud. Emma DeGrasse, to ride today was such a feat for you and Charlie, he was never bred to do this, he was not started in his life to do dressage, and yet you and he held your own scoring in the 60s as well against some of the best bred junior horses in the country. Kudos to you and your boy, you certainly earned it. The part that makes me the happiest is that all three of you left it all out there, you did your best to make your tests the best they could be, you kept your heads about you, and you always rode with your horse in mind first. I am so proud to be able to be a part of your journey in this horse world!!! Thank you for your work!!!
