Look, Im all for positiveness, but these inspirational blogs have got to stop, dammit. Sure, the first time I found out about Upworthy and saw a video titled something like These kittens think this dog is their mother-- then the dog does something amazing; and it will make you weep uncontrollably, I thought, hey, cool, finally a website spreading nice feelings. And yeah. I effin cried a little. The dog loved those kittens. But now those sites are just getting obnoxious. Moments ago I was browsing the blogosphere and came upon an article titled, You wont believe what these people do when they think no one is watching. I had no idea I was on one of these inspirational sites. It was called faithit. I thought it said fat hit. Honest mistake. Anyways, the thumbnail pic for the article shows a grocery store employee. My first thought is, Oh man, hes gonna take a shit in the store! So I click on the link, and then I start thinking, If I hated the grocery store I worked at and wanted to take a shit somewhere, where would I do it? Floral Department at Roths in West Salem is definitely at the top of my list. My imagination is going crazy as the video starts. First sign something was wrong was that Give A Little Bit by the Goo Goo Dolls was playing. Then the video proceeds to show people doing random acts of kindness. Woman drops a purse, guy picks it up. That kinda thing. And then I realized Im going to hell.
