Look Who’s Watching You We tell on ourselves by the friends we - TopicsExpress

Look Who’s Watching You We tell on ourselves by the friends we seek, By the very manner in which we speak, By the way we employ our leisure time, By the way we make use of dollar and dime. We tell what we are by the way we dress, By the spirit in which we hear distress, By the nature of things at which we laugh, By the records we play on the phonograph. We can tell what we are by the way we walk. By the type of things of which we talk, By the manner in which we accept defeat, By the kinds of news we dare to repeat. By the way we respect the house of prayer, By the way we thank God for blessing and care, By the way we love sound doctrine and truth. By the way we train and develop our youth. By the way we serve in many little ways. By our willingness to work without any praise, By the things we watch on the television set, By the way we behave when we fume and fret. We tell on ourselves in these ways and more, These lines could be doubled or multiplied by four, So why should we make pretense to be Different from what others so easily see. Author Unknown
