Look at all the things I can do at the same time: - be hugely proud of my sister who is speaking out about her experiences in the midst of a volatile and divisive narrative - be hugely proud of one of my oldest friends who is a public prosecutor - be hugely proud of one of my oldest friends who is a public defender - be hugely proud and thankful for the sacrifice of my numerous family members who are in law enforcement - be hugely proud and thankful for the sacrifice of one of my oldest friends whose husband is a cop - be supportive of the friends and colleagues who are publicly leading and participating in the movement happening around us - be inspired to bring to the table some of the complexities of policing in STL in 2014 when broken down by a dear friend embedded in that reality - be black #therearenosides if we want to evolve.
