Look at that body, isn’t it gorgeous? I do have a couple friends - TopicsExpress

Look at that body, isn’t it gorgeous? I do have a couple friends that look like that, but they are professional fitness competitors, and they are beautiful. So I guess this image could be real. These days every one of us can Photoshop our own pictures we post on FB. I do. I smooth out my skin, use filters to make reality just a little nicer. So is this image “real”? Doesn’t really matter, because that will never be my body. I have had 3 children, 3 c-sections, been very overweight and lost a lot of weight before. I am in my 40’s. Nope, that will never be my body. And that is OK. I don’t want that body. I just want MY body, as fit as it can be, the size I want it to be. I want to look good in clothes, I want to feel strong, I want to be healthy. So these fitness inspiration memes can do real a disservice- if they inspire you than perfect, that is what they should do – but I don’t strive to be like the people in these pictures, I just strive to be the best me I can. That is why as hard as it is, as scared to be vulnerable and self-conscious as I am, I have decided to share my before and after pictures from my most recent efforts. Now I am still working out and eating as well as I can on a daily basis. And I still have a ways to go; I am about half way there. I want everyone to be inspired, not just by these pictures of bodies that are unattainable by most of us, but by real people doing our best. People who have experienced life to the fullest and accept our bodies for the works of art, carved out by our own individual lives. 1st pic is the “fitness Inspiration” type pics all over the web and FB I am talking about. Next 2 pics are me in December last year and now in same outfit. Down 40 pounds. 3rd pic is me before and after my SABA60 plan. 20 pounds in 2 months. Gulp, this is hard folks but, one motto I try to live by is NO FEAR…. Here it goes.
