Look at these proposed plans for Springdales own Parsons Stadium. Home to one of the top 5 outdoor Rodeos in America. I moved to Springdale in May of 1985. One of the first men I met was Mr. Sandy Boone . He was a mover and a shaker in this town. I didnt know a soul here and Sandy took me around and introduced me to Tex Holt , Phil Phillips, Harvey Jones and other icons of Springdale . We were eating at Neals Cafe one day and Sandy said I want to introduce you to some of my friends. We walked over and he said this is JB Hunt ( JB HUNT TRUCKING ) and Don Tyson ( the man who really built Tyson Foods ). Jim Lindsey may have been there I cant quite remember. Just really down to earth guys. I didnt know those guys from Adam but the next week Don Tyson started ordering pizzas and having them delivered to his house. About every other week he ordered. I had never been to a live Rodeo till I moved here. It is quite the experience. I even had Dominos Pizza become a sponsor. If you have never seen a big time Rodeo you need to come watch it. I love Springdale. I could have lived in any town in northwest Arkansas when I moved here in the Spring of 1985. I chose Springdale. And have not regretted it. Please like and share our page. .
