Look at this baby! Expected to be producing power for California by 2015, where the power company has already pre-ordered all of the output, its expected to cover its construction costs in 11 years, will need no fuel input, creates zero emissions apart from hot air, and needs virtually no maintenance for its projected 80 year life span. Oh, and because it works on temperature differential rather than absolute temperature, they say it can be built anywhere. Also produces greenhouses for producing crops. Probably more for the desert than England, but hey...
