As a mother of an ASRD kid, I can guarantee everyone who reads this that his disorder was not caused by vaccines, and every scientist would agree with me. My son is different because of genetics. My second little guy seems to be typical, and this too is because of genetics. Both are vaccinated. Finding out your kid is on the spectrum is a horrible experience. I understand people want to point to an easy target. But the human body is strange, and things in us lie dormant only to raise their ugly heads down the line. Autism appears in young children (my son was diagnosed at two and a half), my brothers schizophrenia appeared in his late teens, and my aunt mysteriously developed and succumbed to Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease (mad cow) in her 50s. Autism isnt special among our many human ailments that we have yet to fully understand. Avoiding vaccinations will not solve any of these problems. It only creates greater heartache and fear.
