Dear Universal friends, Please share these beautifully inspiring words with as many people as you know personally and others too, of a fifth century Indian poet and playwright, universally known as Kalidass. The more you share with others, the richer you become. Love begets love, anger begets anger, violence begets violence. Dont moan about the dark, light the candle (Japanese proverb). whenever you encounter an adversity whether big or small, respond pro-actively and react skillfully. This will minimize your mental stress and thus maximize your mental peace to stop and reflect for the best outcome for you and the other person. A compassionate heart is a good medicine, but a downcast spirit dries up the bones. This is what Kalidaas, Fifth century Indian poet and playwright wrote: look to this day! For it is life, the very life of life In its brief course lie all the verities and realities of your existence: The bliss of growth, The glory of action, The splendour of beauty; For yesterday is but a dream, And tomorrow is only a vision; But today, well lived, makes every yesterday a dream of happiness And every tomorrow a vision of hope.
