Look upon the bread you eat... see your Savior and your Lord. One of my deepest joys, to finally see my son, after years of walking with me down the communion aisle wondering when he will get to receive the Lord, now tasting his flesh and blood poured out for us as love eternal! That day I fell in love with the Lord again! And for my son, it was like the years of waiting were all worth it when he finally received the Lord himself! The wisdom of transubtantiation-- as all grace that is invisible is experienced and mediated through visible means! When I was in Haggai International 2005 with 50 plus christian leaders from 23 countries and at least 20 denominations, on the last day, in a communion ceremony, we, grown up men, pastors, preachers, theologians, were sobbing like children upon beholding the Lord in flesh and blood, and at that moment the denominations felt insignificant. Heal your broken body Lord!
