Look, we cannot continue to remain silent on the myriad of rape allegations being levied against Bill Cosby. To do do is a slap in the face to our mothers, sisters, nieces, and friends of the female persuasion. The rape of women by men is a serious problem in this country. Intimate partner violence is real and must be addressed by those who believe in human dignity and respect for all. Bill Cosby has made a career of being the lovable, endearing Dad and black respectability preacher to the black community. Well Mr. Cosby theres nothing endearing about the growing mountain of evidence in the numerous rape accusations against you, and I think its time we all take this opportunity to have a conversation about the safety of women in a society that worships celebrity more than humanity.
