Look what we found on Wikipedia - talking about belief in God (Allah) and edited by somebody: Most people agree, God is One! Yes! But how? One what? One Trinity? One person? One universe? Four fundamental thoughts run through the minds and hearts of those who preach and teach the Sufi mentality: 1 the Oneness of Existence (wahdat al-wujud) which he said could be realized only through asceticism (God and Existence are One & the Same) 2 Fear of God and His judgements (khawfu billah), 3 Belief and conformation God is everywhere and it’s necessary to see His Face in everything He has created. 4 Only through drowning in the Ocean of the Unity (awnu fi bahri al-wahadati) can the seeker cast off and leave behind his own existence and attributes to be merged and absorbed into Allah and His Attributes. Unlike some forms of Christianity insisting Jesus is God, this mentality insists all of the universe and whatever or whoever, is in it are also - ONE WITH GOD. Highly compatible with adherents of some mystical sects of Judaism, Buddhism andHinduism, who are attracted to the notion of mystical experiences, visions, apparitions and dreams of prophetic status, along with voices from beyond earthly experience.
