Look who is starting to crawl We are beyond excited right now. We were told by a developmental doctor that the likely hood of Melanie sitting and crawling by ONE wasnt very common for cardiac babies who had extended stays in the hospital so early on in life and highly doubted she would be any different. When Melanie was born we didnt get discharged until she was 65 days old and then retuned about three weeks later for heart surgery which,led to her having restrictions for 8weeks post op. We are so,so blessed and very grateful. I am happy to say our sweet baby can sit on her own, roll over to both sides,reach for toys, and crawl BEFORE she hit one year of age. Its been a lot of work but its all worth it❤️
