Look whos turning 9 next month! Buster has a wish for his birthday! He wants to help both people & pets during the holiday season. We will be collecting items for Birmingham Boston Terrier Rescue, Greater Birmingham Humane Society, Birmingham Aids Outreach, & St. Martins in the Pines!! You can drop off items at Altadena Valley Animal Clinic 2898 Acton Road Birmingham, AL 35243 Items needed: cat & dog food (wet & dry), treats, toys, leashes, collars, harnesses, cat litter, blankets, towels, cleaning supplies, crates, & etc for animals! Blankets, clothing, hygiene items, coats & jackets, books, coloring books, crayons & etc for people. Busters Story Buster is an 8 year old Boston/ cattle dog mix. His previous owner, in Mobile, AL, passed away when Buster was 7 and the family didnt have the lifestyle for a dog. They turned him into the local shelter to rehome. The shelter workers contacted BBTR. Buster came into the rescue and was fostered by his future adopters. Within the first month, they knew he was a keeper. Buster has two Boston Terrier sisters, both 8 years old. One was also a rescue that had lost their previous owner. Buster has graduated from Intermediate and advanced training. He goes to work everyday with his mom, at an animal clinic. He also attends BBTR events and participates in transports. He visits an independent living retirement home each month. Buster will be 9 years old on December 21st of this year. For his birthday, he wants to help collect donated items for people and dogs in need. Since people came together to find him a good home and met his needs, he wants to help people and pets in need by pawing it forward!
