Looking Straight Ahead Proverbs 4:25 Let thine eyes look right on, and let thine eyelids look straight before thee. I opened my Bible up tonight to just study and read a few chapters before bed. This scripture really stuck out to me, because it is sort of the epitome of destruction- losing focus. It seems when everything is going smooth and well, some old distraction (and we each have our own personal ones) will pop back up and get in our way. Lets all strive to follow this scripture. Keep our eyes on the prize. Whatever that may be. Let us realize what blessings we have right in front of us and do nothing to disturb the pretty path ahead by merely losing focus. It isnt right to look at someone elses life and wish you had it or start feeling sorry for yourself and what God has given you. Happy people dont have the best of everything, they make the best of everything. Remember, the grass isnt always greener on the other side. Its green where you water it.
