Looking at Bruces lovely pix below and the unfortunate chameleon, I thought Id mention Tsavo chameleons. In savanna, you tend to get hornless unspecialised chameleons, and in eastern Kenya you get two, my observation is that Chamaeleo dilepis (flap-necked) are on the hills, and Chamaeleo gracilis (slender chameleons) are on the flats. Heres a bright gracilis from the road between Voi and Aruba, and a dilepis from Ngulia mountain.
