Looking at my Gucci, its about that time!!!! Team Maryland FBU National Championship is about to GO DOWN!!!! All State National Championship teams are NOT CREATED EQUAL!!!!!! ACCEPT NO SUBSTITUTES OR IMITATIONS!!!!!! DONT BE CONFUSED. Imitation is the greatest form of flattery, but nothing compares to the original. TEAM MARYLAND is the 2011 8th Grade Elite 8 participants featuring Lo Lo Harrison and Terrance Davis (DeMatha), Ramar Williams (McNamara), Richard Merritt (Carroll), Travon Diggs (Avalon), and Steven Smothers (Franklin), and many more. TEAM MARYLAND is the 2012 7th Grade National Champion, featuring Dejuan Ellis (OConnell), Raymond Boone, Austin Fontaine, and Noah Taylor (DeMatha), Jason Labbe (Gonzaga), and Brandon Willis (Gilman), Keith Felton (Eastern Christian Academ), and many more. TEAM MARYLAND is the 2012 8th Grade Elite 8 participant featuring Cam Spence, Carlton Taylor, Arik Smith, and Kasim Hill (Gilman), Anthony McFarland, Delonte Hellams, and Marcus Minor (DeMatha), Davis Golston and Adrian Platt (Seneca Valley), Jalen Lea and Travis Nannen (Good Counsel), Davon Williams (St. Frances), and many more. TEAM MARYLAND SENT 2 TEAMS to the 2013 Final Four, with the 8th Grade team featuring the returning National Champions plus Tremayne Stott and Jonathan Donnelly (Good Counsel), Cam Goode (St. Johns), Rashard Jackson (Ryken), Daniel Hood and Cody Winokur (Spalding), Evan Gregory and Thomas Booker (Gilman), Nami Brown (DeMatha), Cowboy McCutchen and Jeremy Mensah (Riverdale Baptist), Devin Devon Petrillo (Westlake) along with lone 7th grader who will anchor this years squad Myles Harris, and many more. TEAM MARYLAND unleashed the 5 Horsemen from the 6th grade crew that are the foundation for the future of MD Football and who will lead our 7th grade team. QB Trace Campbell, RB/LB Antwain Littleton, OL/DL Treyvon Branch, TE/DE Dominique Perry, and LB Jordan Anderson. With the additions of Elite WR/DB Rakim Jarrett, spectacular WR/Joshua Dodd, and the world class speed of WR/DB Ashton Allen, this team will be a problem. There is only 1 TEAM MARYLAND FOR FBU. Dont be fooled or confused. Do your homework. Some people may not like us, but they are not the parents of elite athletes and certainly not the athletes themselves. Our track record speaks for itself in this tournament. Our alums read like a whos who list of top HS prospects who already have a record number of Major Division 1 offers. These are the names of the kods you will reading about receiving offer after offer after offer. Do your homework and decide if you want a Proven product and machine, or you want ro experiment. Every year we bring the heat!!!! We are one of the smallest states in the Country with one of the smallest football populations. But for 3 years in a row we have a consistent place at the Final Four table. TEAM MARYLAND IS A CONNECTED WINNER. If you dont make it to the Final Four in this tournament you are playing for fun. That is cool if you just want to play for fun. If you just want to play for fun, TEAM MARYLAND IS NOT THE RIGHT FIT FOR YOU. There are other options if you want to play for fun. FYI.... it will not be much fun if you have to play against us. We dont play in the FBU Tournament for fun. There is too much at stake. The reputation of our state is at stake. The perception of the athletes in our state is at stake. Success in this tournament will result in Maryland being transformed into a National Football Hotbed of talent. When that happens more colleges will flock to this state to offer OUR kids MORE scholarship offers that can alter their destinies. We take this very seriously because college scholarship offers change lives. I know because I had over 25 when I was a HS senior. Everyday I live the benefit of that free education I recieved at Maryland and the Brand Name I have because of playing Major Division 1 football on television every week. That combination of education and networking opportunities has served me well and I am obsessed with maximizing the chances for the athletes of the state of MD. That is why we dont play in this tournament for fun. The FBU Tournament provides the BEST platform for us to change perception and we do it through success. Success in FBU is defined in Final Four appearances and National Championships ONLY! So if you want to play to win and play for keeps, do your own research and it will be crystal clear that TEAM MARYLAND is your ONLY OPTION. ANYTHING LESS WOULD BE UNCIVILIZED!!!!! I dont always play for FBU National Championships......... When I do I play for Team Maryland......... Stay Thirsty My Friends!!!!!
