Looking at the 6z/12zGFS models, the rest of today will be dry, - TopicsExpress

Looking at the 6z/12zGFS models, the rest of today will be dry, but then rain moves back in by tomorrow as a strong warm front moves through tomorrow into Mon with heavy rains...mainly over the mountains with several inches possible. Per 12zWRF, it`s also possible that the very far North interior could maybe a get a little snow before changing back to rain as snow levels over that area will be and or shown to be near sea level, though 12zUW-NAM keeps snow levels well over the mountain passes. Heavy rains continue into Mon, but rains should be gradually ending from south to north during the day as the warm front lifts northward with most of Tue being dry except for maybe a few lingering showers over far north interior, but otherwise, Tue looks mainly dry with Wed also being a dry as a ridge of high pressure briefly builds in. Rain and showers appear to be back for Thurs/Fri as a weak front and trough is shown to move through during that period. Sat looks to feature just a few showers with another front or weak trough moving through on Sun. For the longer range is worth, the GFS models are still going with the idea of a large ridge building over us for much of next following week for what looks like dry and stable conditions. 12zCanadain and GEM model also drying conditions for Tue with a dry day Wed/Thurs with GEM showing a chance of showers for the Fri through the weekend period. And looks like 12zEURO also shows dry weather for Tue and into Wed with Thurs being mostly dry with some rain shown to move in by Thurs/ Thurs night with some rain or showers at times for the weekend as a weak trough is shown to move through. And just like the GFS, it looks like the GEM and EURO show some possible drier weather for early next following week.
