Looking at what human beings have done to each other over the recent years from slavery in our own country to the Holocaust in Germany makes me, at times, think we are no better than brainless hamsters who eat their young. Yet we still insist on calling ourselves the greater species. Rented 12 years a slave on redbox. Very thought provoking and sad. Its just beyond me to comprehend how an entire group could be so hateful to another group with no cause or understanding of the individual person, and that everyone else either joined in or stood back and did nothing to stop it. Those who dont remember history are doomed to repeat it. Better think twice before you stereotype anyone whose not like you. Cultures should be understood and not just tolerated, but rejoiced in and appreciated. Yet again, God created our world to be different. If all the flowers in the garden were the same, no matter how rare or beautiful, youd have a very boring garden. Diversity is the spice of life. Just my thoughts. Rant over. I pray that this generation of people remembers our history and doesnt repeat the same mistakes of past generations.
