Looking back at each hui, Te Mana gave different information, could not answer alot of patai, and admitted we were voting on a ever-changing DRAFT mandate strategy. ROTORUA hui had old school Kaumatua, and whanaunga of notriety. The Boards demeanour was very quiet and subdued. Not a peep of arrogance. Not so at Hams, Auckland and Matata. We got told by staff and trustees not to speak, to sit down, called trouble-makers, and to be very careful, that we wudnt be there if it wasnt for the Putea.
