Looking back at my early days in college, the most beautiful thing I have ever experienced in IIT was the Integrated Performing Arts Guild (IPAG). Today in my fourth year, it still is. Tonight, they preformed Gaia (from Sir Steves post: borrowing from Greek mythology on the Goddess of Earth, the beginning of beginnings). I sincerely believe that IPAGs performances shapes the community and its individuals in many beautiful ways. Those who really immerse themselves find that they might never appreciate anything less excellent or less beautiful than the Theatre they experience in IIT. I, who now studies Transcreation under IPAGs founder and artistic director Steven P.C. Fernandez for my thesis, might never settle for any other experience than that which liberates, democratizes, and intellectualizes the engagements in performance. Maraming Salamat, IPAG!
