Looking back at my time as a young person at Parr Central 1960 to 1964 I often remember little things that sank into my consciousness. 1.The first lesson in the metalwork room. The teacher told us about a Bastard file. Shock, horror because the teacher said Bastard 2 Every time I see an outline map of Australia I remember Mr.Fraser. I was in his geography class, colouring in a map of that wretched continent when Mr Fraser crept up behind me and hit the back of my hand with a ruler. If you turn a map of Australia 90 degrees anti clockwise it is a perfect profile of Mr Fraser before he got his hairpiece! Try it.
