Looking back on my life, I feel so foolish and grateful.. its been two years since my spirit awakened and my soul only wanted me to return to my TRUE self.. I was so asleep that I just fell in line and never questioned anything! The fact that we live in a baby globe with a gazillion other galaxies. Why I never studied TRUE black history beyond MLK, Rosa Parks, and Harriet Tubman. Why I was taught to pray to a blue eyed, blonde Jesus when we know this was an improper image (no offense to my lighter skinned sisters and brothers). Nothing! We have been systematically taught to NOT be critical thinkers.Taught that thinking/being outside of the box makes you crazy. But if I stayed asleep like most ppl, I wouldnt know the royalty that runs through my veins or that in order to find Jah, I have to find myself.. Most ppl wont get it and thats ok, but if yall never listen to anything else I say; learn your history before slavery, ask questions, know that in order to know where youre going, you have to know where you come from.. annndddd bring love to wherever our ppl are hurting..
