Looking back on this year Ive had many ups and downs. Ive learned - I completed my Masters in Nursing Education. Ive traveled -I took an amazing hunting safari in South Africa. Ive made new friends, reconnected with old friends. Ive discovered who my true friends are and am blessed for them! This year has brought much happiness and much sadness. Losing at love. Discovering people are not always who they portray to be has been a big disappointment. Realizing who sticks with you in your darkest hour and who leaves you can be the most humbling and heart breaking moment of your life. I end this year and begin the next as a strong, independent single mom with an amazing family and some pretty spectacular friends. I only have room for honest, loyal people in my life. If you dont fall into that category, my life is better without you. Be true to yourself. Think about your actions, or lack thereof. Life is a gift and should be appreciated and lived. As I approach 40, Im happier and healthier than Ive been in YEARS! ! So fasten your seat belt folks, because this is all real!!
