Looking back to my early childhood, 2003, as a countryside kid. I did not play as other kids did, instead I played as an educator. I had 5 close friends who were my neighbors. They used banana leaves as their books and a bamboo sticks as their pens. I had chalks and blackboard under my warm home, so teaching was all fun and cool. Everyday, I taught them Khmer alphabets and numbers as well as English. At that time my English was just like a young chick learning how to find grains. I learned by my self with Self study book ( Learn English By Yourself in 64 hours). How proud it is to hear that, right? My habits was not changed much. In high school, I also became a teacher of English in a nearby monastery. I taught monks for free and that might be the reason that I am doing my B.Ed at IFL currently. Thanks my first English teacher who is a monk in my remote village. I do miss that time. Before and after class, my teacher asked us to spell the Buddhist chants and I almost became an Aja for I could remeber all chants he taught. Thanks Mr. Nhem Sam On, my first English tutor and other teachers who had been teaching me with all of your efforts.
