Looking for 1 young person from France and 1 from Egypt for EVS project in Romania (deadline 05 February 2014) Who we want? Young people 18-30 years Countries – France and Egypt Profile of volunteers unemployed young people or disadvantaged young people (facing economic or social issues, those who abandon educational system, ethnic minorities in their countries, living in isolated areas, physical disabled ) young people passionate about working with children, working in education for nature, outdoor and sport activities, interested to learn and motivated to help us Reconnect - Children enjoy recreational time through Sport and outdoor activities Project is about offering sport si outdoor activities to disadvantaged children 6-12 years from Oradea community as a free time recreational after-school program. The program is Monday to Friday 12.00- 18.00 and it takes place in a public school in Oradea, city Romania. The 12 EVS volunteers will work side by side with youthworkers from our organization to provide this educational opportunity for about 80 disadvantaged children (poor families, families with social issues, mono-parental, rroma ethnic minority) who otherwise would not have the chance to have an afternoon program or possibilities to spend their free time. EVS service March - October 2014 Tasks of volunteers plan, prepare and organize a daily sport and outdoor educational program of 6 hours Monday to Friday for children 6 to 12 years from Oradea promote after school program and its activities in the local community plan and organise 2 local sport contests where children from different local schools organised in teams can participate encourage and support young people from Oradea community involvement as volunteers in the afterschool program organize workshops in highschools and universities in Oradea where they can share their experience as EVS volunteers and encourage volunteering Who is Life Foundation ? Life Foundation registered as Life Youth Foundation (Fundatia Life Tineret) is a non profit organization from Romania active in the youth field since 1998. We have experience in organizing different activities for young people (European Voluntary Service EVS projects, youth exchanges, youth initiatives, public awareness campaigns at local level, Youth policy of Oradea community, etc.) and youth workers (study visits, local, national and international seminars and training courses). Life Foundation ( acreditation number 2013-RO-75) is working with EVS - European Voluntary Service since 2003 and since then we were active as hosting, sending and coordinating organization. We have sent and host more than 120 volunteers. Selection criteria 1.
