Looking for LOVE in all the Wrong Places Does that sound like a country and western song? The world cannot fill the hole in your heart where the LORD belongs. Many years ago I thought the love of a good woman would solve all a man’s problems. That attitude makes for a good song but in reality, it’s not true. I am convinced that no man or woman can truly be at peace in the soul with Jesus Christ. AND I am convinced that no person can show pure, holy, selfless love to anyone else apart from a selfless relationship with Jesus Christ. The LORD is my HOPE, my HEART and HE alone enables me to be the husband, father and friend of mankind that fits HIS plan for you and me. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life (John 3:16). But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us (Romans 5:8). For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans 8:38-39). But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved) (Ephes. 2:4-5). Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not (1 John 3:1).
