Looking for Sr. Manager/AD- Mumbai location Title: Forensic Data Analyst Role description Data sits at the heart of every organization and is relied upon for all aspects of operations, analysis, decision-making, reporting and planning. Our Analysts understand the business process and identify patterns and assist the client realize potential control weakness resulting in fraud. Supporting EY Assurance service in using a range of analytical tools and technologies to deal with industry-specific data issues. We work with leading companies across all industries locally and assist EY Global Assurance team deliver value to their clients. This ranges from designing specific checks for comforting the company auditors on possible fraud scenarios before financial reporting (data quality and governance) to proactive diagnostic analysis (e.g., fraud risk assessment) and value added analysis (e.g., fraud monitoring In procurement to pay, order to cash, travel & entertainment expense & predictive analytics on known fraud scenarios), in areas relating to customers, workforce, finance and risk. Fraud Analytics is an integral part of EY Assurance & FIDS practice and our One strategy enables individuals to work with our specialists in different areas across the business. Globally, Deloitte delivered $1bn of analytics work last year and our UK practice has around 300 staff focused on analytics services. Requirements To qualify for the role you must have: • Manage team of resources aligned for execution of projects • Deliver on time and to a high standard • Become a crucial part of the technical team supporting the development of new propositions to solve our client issues • Become involved in business development • Work directly with investigation team assisting with client engagements • Developing a role within the Forensic Technology team as a whole, supporting internal development opportunities and helping to grow the practice • Have a clear understanding of the firm’s commitment to creating a more inclusive culture To qualify for the role you must have: • Strong quantitative and analytical skills • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • An ability to build relationships and liaise with clients • Proven problem solving skills • The ability to manage and prioritise workload • Experience of delivering projects as part of a team • Flexibility on working hours and a willingness to work on projects in India & abroad Required Technical Skills: • One of the below: • Microsoft SQL Server (T-SQL, Stored Procedures, Query Optimization, Database Design and Implementation) • Microsoft SSIS, or other BI/ETL package • Knowledge in ERP modules within SAP, Oracle financials or JD Edwards • Ability to analyse and interpret large data sets from a wide variety of sources, with or without schema knowledge • Familiarity with software development life cycle Additional desirable experience includes: • Data analysis experience in a forensic role • Experience of working with financial data sets • Experience/understanding of electronic disclosure technologies and computer forensics • Experience of SAS, SPSS, Cognos, SAP, Oracle Financials or JD Edwards • Experience in Microsoft SSRS.
