Looking for Videographer Intern: Posting Summary: We are a Marketing Consultant/Agency and we are Expanding our Team and is looking for a Videographer/Photographer who is looking for some experience in this field or related. We are looking for a. looking for an Creative Thinker/Visionary. Experienced videographer who is able to take direction, capture and create moments that are impressionable and meaningful for our Clients. As a Videographer you will perform tasks as a specialist in video production while actively contributing creatively to storytelling by frequently composing distinctive visuals within the scope and time constraints of the project being created. Your creative focus is primarily in daily news gathering & editing materials for Commercials, Video Logs, online Video, (more frequent projects). Larger scale videos when assigned. Photography- Will be assigned, but we are looking for a free thinker. I am looking for spontaneity. I am looking for input in many occasions. Your opinion counts. Duties are performed under the direction of program or other assignment personnel, but there may be requirements to work independently. Flexibility in schedule. Qualifications We are looking for candidates with the following profile: o Certification through a Community College or working on a Degree in an appropriate discipline such as television or media arts o Three years of practical and relevant experience o Excellent level of technical knowledge and understanding of daily news production methods o Ability to operate an Electronic News Gathering (ENG) camera and associated technology such as wireless microphones, lighting equipment, and communication tools o Ability to edit video/audio using Non-Linear editing technology such as Avid Media Composer in both an office and remote setting o Strong skills in both picture composition when using the camera as well as content presentation during the editing process o Valid drivers license o Ability to ask scripted questions of people being recorded or interviewed o You are able to meet deadlines and take direction o You are organized & reliable o Experienced with own Camera, Photoshop, Editing, etc. o Enthusiastic about being a part of a growing start-up community o Able to work independently and with a team o *Please note this is an unpaid 3 month internship.
