Looking for a controller in the motor sports world. Most of what they do is live concerts and festivals, putting on large, live concerts like U2 and Metallica, Coachella, etc. Needs someone energetic, slightly entrepreneurial and not afraid of delving in to unknown territories and building the financial operations side of the company and willing to grow with the company Someone with 5 years experience out of school with tax, audit type experience, a cpa. Its a tough one. Someone comfortable working in rock and roll world. Not a desk job, lots of players involved. There are kickbacks, commissions and international import and export. Must be able to write the rule book versus just going by it and someone who can do it legally and work with the attorneys. Must be a CPA so they understand the legal and regulatory and financial needs of a growing company, but also understand there is a lot of unconventionality. Every concert tour has an accountant on staff who travels with the band. You may have to fly to where the band is playing and have a meeting at 10:30 at night to get an handful of questions answered.
