Looking for a fun gift? Maria, I ordered your slow cooker cookbook a couple of weeks ago in anticipation of my daughter having surgery the need for healthified meals without the excess prep and cook time taking away from my time with her. The book came and I spent over an hour just thumbing through it. Its a gorgeous book! Last weeks menu was a solid 7 days of crockpot recipes from the book. The Reuben Chicken, Pumpkin Chili, Coq Au Vin...all delicious, but to my delight VENISON recipes!! The venison recipes were magnificent and such a pleasant surprise to find in there! Next week is surgery, and my daughter has taken the time to make out the menu. All of her favorite Maria recipes are listed, several from the slow cooker book. Bone broth, ginger tea, chicken noodle soup, different variations of your ice creams, all on there. Great job with this book, Maria.
