Looking for a home. (JOBURG) PLEASE SHARE!! Jasmine is a female Tortoiseshell, she has been sterilized and vaccinated. She is 1 years old. She is socialized with other cats so would be fine in a home with one or more cats. We have not tested her with dogs but are sure she would be okay with dogs that do not scare her. Jasmine is a shy girl, she used to be a feral cat, she was terrified of humans and didn’t want anything at all to do with us, it took us a few months of sitting with her day in and day out to get her where she is today, she is affectionate and loves to be with people but still has a long way to go, she loves her back scratched but still does not trust hands completely so she will sometimes get a fright if someone tries to touch her face. Other than that, she is playful and wants to be with you all the time, sometimes sitting on any lap she can. She would need someone who is understanding, gentle, calm and patient. Someone who will take the time to build trust with her and not take it personally every time she gets a little shy, she does want to be a good cat and be confident, she is trying her best, but was not raised with humans and so it is amazing, that she could come out of her shell the way she has and actually make an effort to trust humans.
