Looking for a new idea for those Hatch peppers? How about Hatch pepper powder. Roast and peel peppers then dehydrate until dry. Combine dried peppers, garlic powder, sea salt, and ground dried papaya seeds or black pepper and grind until you achieve a powdery blend. This can be used on veggies, meat marinades, or dry meat rubs. Use sparingly as it will have quite a kick unless you remove all of the seeds and pith from the pepper. You can also add dried cilantro and cumin if youd like.
