Looking for a probate attorney..maybe an alumni friend from Miami Country Day School or Holy Cross NMiami knows of any kind good ones. The Guardianship Program of Florida who was caring for my husband claims that the last bit of money he had in his social security balance is so low that they cannot release the funds. IT sounds ridiculous, but then again dealing with them from the beginning has been just as much of a joke . The care was below acceptable standards. They never returned our calls and rarely came to visit him... and now they want to keep his last few dollars that he would so love to go to his son. ANy professional help or advice is greatly appreciated. We watched my poor husband Doug Lenchner suffer thru his last years and now the state wants to keep his last social security earnings. Talk about kicking a man when he is down.....They are not guarding him very well for a guardianship program ...its more like a program designed to keep all helpless Floridians money...
