Looking for a running partner that will 1. Show up / do not flake 2. Will run on rainy/cloudy/cold days if they are scheduled already 3. Wont try and make excessive conversation in the middle of it; wasting breath 4. Wont complain excessively during the run. (Complaining of how much running sucks is entirely acceptable, but complaining about aches and burning wont do much good) 5. Can come out West Bend way to use the Eisenbahn trail. Ill always offer cool-down at my place with some protein grub/shake afterwards. 6. Has appropriate broken-in running shoes (whatever shoes you prefer, but must be already worn-in so you are not getting major blisters right away.) 7. You take care of your body before, during, after, and in between any of your fitness routines, including runs. I am looking to be around those who care about their own bodies. Self-care is integral. I eat mac n cheese all the damn time; this isnt a request for fellow dieters. This is a request for those just looking to run/jog. Everything else in your lifestyle/routine is up to you. I sound rough, but I am a horrible runner, in truth. and I do better when surrounded by other runner(s). The weather is great, so I am tired of excuses about the climate, or general fatigue. Getting active makes you feel better emotionally, mentally, and of course, physically. Its in poor taste to make any more excuses now that the weather has cleared a path for us to go outside. I include myself in this group of people who made excuses. So, any takers to move? I am running either way, but I thought Id extend the largely open invitation to others to come use this awesome running trail and get your blood pumping. Again, the rest of your fitness/health plan is up to you. This is just for a good run once in awhile. :)
