Looking for advice. Went to a 500 point store tourney with a BUNCH of restrictions on what you could take; nothing with a combine AV of 33 (12/11/10), no SET 2+, no model with more then 2 wounds, no MCs, etc. Super cool idea, I had a great time. Some guy (he was a really nice guy, btw) decided to bring a ScreamerStar. Yup. One guy he fought brought a bunch of Orks and Gretchin. Good idea, I thought. Man, he spent his game against the ScreamStar basically doing NOTHING. And you could tell that he was not happy about it. He spent the rest of his day looking rather unhappy. I wanted to say something to him to maybe lift his spirits, but beyond Your new codex is coming, hang in there., what do you say? It actually crossed my mind to say, Its just the direction the game has taken in the last couple of years, maybe look at another system? But thats not really helpful. Thoughts?
