Looking for an exercise that gives the most bang for the buck? Give kettle bell swings a try. In a study involving 10 men and women between the ages of 29-46 performing a KB swing routine for 20 minutes (I dont know what the interval was) showed that the average person in the study lost 20 calories per minute, 400 calories for the 20 minute session. Researchers say thats equivalent to running a six-minute mile or cross-country skiing uphill at a fast pace. Now this doesnt mean go out and grab kettle bells and throw your back out which would be the case with a lot of people.
