Looking for helmet advice please. Ive currently got a £25 Alpine Bikes XC style lid that Ive had for many many years and after a bit of a hairy, bike somersaulting over the top of my head while flying through the air on an embarressingly flat, non-technical part of the trail - off last weekend (Im still very sore and had no sympathy from my wife) I feel I need something with a little more coverage. It also has a tendency to slip when I do drop offs badly (every time) leaving me unable to see anything but the inside of a sweaty helmet and Ive lost some of the pads and have glued foam in its place... I also sweat a lot so excellent air flow and cooling is a must. So, recommendations please. I dont mind paying extra for well designed protection as my brain is quite important. Thanks.
