Looking for help. - Im looking for possible resources, direction, advice for getting help to fund surgeries for my 9 1/2 yr old CH boy, Solomon. Hes had sinus problems since at least the day that I rescued him from a farm 8 yrs ago, the bone in his face is now being eaten away, and weve Finally pinned down the problem - he was recently found to have ear polyps running deep down through his ears that must be surgically removed. With that diagnosis also came the news that Solomon has begun having tooth resorption and, due to his intolerance to meds, (including pain meds), he will have to have a separate surgery to remove all of his teeth. In addition, he will need to be hospitalized for more than double the usual amount of time due to his problems with medications, his severe reactions to them and the effects they have on his immune system. The total cost of of both surgeries have the potential to reach well over $7,000. After scraping, saving and selling what I could to get the $1,800 for the diagnostics that resulted in these diagnosis (original estimate was $1,200) I am in desperate need of help. I have set up an on-line donation account but I dont see that being able to attain the funding Solomon needs, and certainly not within the time that he should have it. Does anyone have any other sources or information on where I can get him help? I will be posting to the fb CH Kitty Club, as well.
